The incident occurred when the rider tried to jump at a private motocross facility near Sutherland Dam Road, east of Ramona.
Unfortunately, Pat doesn’t manage to land the jump, causing the motorcycle to fall on them.
Witnesses at the facility immediately reported the accident, which occurred around 3:00 p.m. They provided live CPR to the injured motorist until emergency responders arrived.
Despite the efforts of the responders, who continued resuscitation until around 15:40, the driver was pronounced dead.
The exact cause of death and extent of injuries have not been disclosed, pending further investigation.
Because the incident occurred on private property, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will be investigating the collision and subsequent deaths.
