Jarange says could take stir to Mumbai | India News
THANE: Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange on Tuesday hinted that if the community’s demands were not met by the Maharashtra government by the promised deadline of December 24, the reservation agitation could reach Mumbai.
Addressing community members in Thane following a rally in CM Eknath Shinde’s city, , Jarange said, “We have high hopes from the CM… We are reminding the government to give us our right of reservation by December 24, else we (Maratha groups) will come together and stage a far bigger and bitter protest… We haven’t yet decided on coming to Mumbai, but what stops us from going there?”
